im thinking about buying a infinity amp from my friend here are the specs

Key Features:

CLASS D

Amplifier Type: Mono Channel

Bridgable: Not Bridgable

RMS Power at 4 Ohms: 456 W x 1

RMS Power at 2 Ohms: 657 W x 1

i want to use it to push four 8" rockford fosgate subs, all 8OHMS, i think there either 100 or 125 watt rms.....will this setup rock or drop...any input is appricated ....thanks in advance

  1. well the amp looks good - you can present a 2 ohm load to get 657 watt rms, but is powerful enof to burn the subs

    you only need 500rms for the 4 subs so why waste money for a more powerful amp.

    look for an amp which pushes 500rms @ 2ohms

    WARNING - don't overpower the subs  or you'll blow them
