Question:

Another question about a strange language I speak inmy sleep: Stal des pappl schalt. What does it mean?

I recorded me speaking these words in my sleep last night. it is of course a phonetic spelling and does seem to be a Germanic language. I tried to use the English German translator on it but as I do not have the the correct spellings that was impossible. I do not speak German or much of any language except for English. I have heard German being spoken via old war movies and a neighbor I had many years ago who was German and used to get mad and cuss in German. But I have no fluency in the language. PLEASE help me to find out what the phraze means. Thanks...~M~

  1. Sounds like you were scolding someone. . . . .Shalt means scold . . . . .check out the web site below . . . .i found that word on it . . .good luck  (I'd say that in German if I knew how).. . .=)

  2. You are most likely speaking in English, but it is just garbled since you are asleep.  My sister does that.  It almost feels like you can understand her even though you can't.

  3. looks german but ask this question in the language section & see if any one there can tell you for sure!

  4. if you remember your dream, you can find a "translation" from that.

  5. .

    Wow, have to refer Encyclopedia

    Pl.give me some time.

  6. Wow, I second what Rae Rae said...very insightful and I think it could be the missing piece to the puzzle. :)

  7. Its mumbled jibberish.  Still does people shoot.

  8. You said your neighbor would 'cuss' in German. Well, if shalt means to scold then your neighbor is trying to connect with you is my guess.

This neighbor is taking control of your dreams and has a connection with you. I am not sure if that is just coincidence but that's what it sounds like to me. I can connect with the dead and this has happened with friends of mine. They started having weird dreams about some one's life, some one they did not know. We had to banish the spirit, if you don't you become the spirit.

  9. I can't say...but it's interesting. You should consider keep taping your self to see what comes out of it.

  10. It is not any language because you can look it up on sites where it finds out what it means no matter what language, which I just did.  And, you don't speak in your sleep you mumble, so like a guy above me said, it was probably garbled english.

  11. You know Maggie, there is a language section here, and one of those folks may possibly recognize that, give this a try over there.
