Sperm CAN live in you for up to 7 days if all variables are perfect.  Rarely are they and so the Mayo Clinic reports that the average is 5-6 days.

Outside the body, sperm lasts a few hours.

You can get pregnant from pre-ejaculation.  It is the sperm, and anywhere there is sperm, there is a chance.  In fact if your into weird fetishes, urine after a man ejaculates will also contain sperm.

Which brings us to the last question.  I think there is a TV commercial somewhere where the people are trying to get pregnant and she takes the test, its negative and they say they will try again tomorrow night.    Once again it goes back to question 3, if sperm lives for 5-6 days, taking the test the next day isn't going to do anything.  In fact the body does not produce enough hormones to be detectable by the strips until about a week after conceiving.  So add one week to the other week and you get 2 weeks minimum.

Sperm can live for 3-5 days, and yes, you can get pregnant if you ovulate before they're all dead. Whoever told you they die after a few hours is using information that's about a century out-of-date.

"pulling out" is not an effective birth control method, yes you can get pregnant.

You have to wait a minimum of two weeks after s*x before taking a pregnancy test, and even that's too soon to trust a negative result. Sorry if that seems long to you. For a pregnancy test in the old days, you used to have to wait until you'd missed two periods, and then kill a lab rabbit.
