I am sorry for the sailor questions. My dad died two years ago, and for some strange reason it is starting to "hit" me now!

Navy guy--lots of stories----I can only seem to remember in bits and pieces. I would like to pass the stories down to my son! This one has to do with a certain cloud formation, possibly before or after a storm, includes the pants of a dutchman (not kinky--this is father/daughter here!). Well, mmmm, okay maybe a little kinky here welcome---sorry, trying to chear myself up! Thank you in advance. All comments welcome; I promise to read every one!

  1. Arrrgggggghhhhh-----Aye Matey!    Ye be talking about the Flying Dutchman.......famous Lore among us old salts!

Tis said this ghost ship appears in the form of a cloud,  most often near the Cape of Good Hope..........

appearing and disappearing in the morning fog or mist.

A wretched, cursed Dutch Mariner, condemned to sail the seas--- against the wind----,  until the bitter Judgement day.

Pity the poor deckhand that has the ill fortune to spot this ship bearing down on him, for he is either in danger of being taken on board to serve the Ghost ship, .....or he's been into the Captain's grog again!!!

Not sure which is the worse fate.......but this be true.........

The Flying Dutchman sails.......and very few seadogs spot her, and live to tell the tale. !

I be one of the lucky ones........Arrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh!!

Me and the Dutchman fought it out, but the better sailor won, and I got away.

But there were many cursed , wretched souls on board, taken prisoner by the Dutchman, for lack of their sailing skills.

So, if you see the Dutchmans Cloud bearing down on your ship, you best hoist all your sails, and pray the wind is with you. !

    Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!

Your dad is  watching over you and ye shall always have fair winds and following seas----so you need not fear the Dutchmans Cloud!
