if u spill a chemical what should u do

you need to know what chemical before you do mess with it.  Different chemicals react differently to water baking soda etc...  Water neutralize acids while vinegar and bleach will cause a dangerous caustic gas.

read container and see what it suggests to do. Ask the lab teacher what to do, or tell your boss you spilled it. If it's something simple like Draino or something just wipe it up and throw out the rag.

gloves. goggles. and tell the poor guy who's lab your in that you spilled a bunch of stuff in it. and for heavens sake, next time, try to find out what you spilled. no better yet, know what your doing.
