Ok im in the nostalgic kind of mood today. Lets see if i can the wording right this time. Who was the last skater and goalie on one of the rosters of the Original Six(the six teams before the expansion years of 1967) team to play in the NHL?

Hint: the goalie and skater played on the same team, and retired in back to back years.

Rogatien Vachon and Serge Savard?  Carol Vadnais too?

Did they play for diff. original 6 teams and retire on the same team, or did they play on the same original 6 team?

Serge Savard and Carol Vadnais both retired the year after Vachon in 82-83...

Savard retired after the 82-83 playoffs with the Jets, so I will say Savard.

Cashman, although I'm not sure he is an assistant coach for BOS.
