Another weird dream? Any meaning behind it?

I had a dream that I was at a waterpark (I had actually been at the waterpark 2 days before). I was going down this slide where you race. When I hit the bottom, I found that I could breathe. Then I found some people I knew underwater. The only one I remember is Torak (a book character from the Wolf Brother books). He said he had to "initiate" me, so he said he had to cut off the skin on my leg (I know, macabre). I was screaming at him that I didn't want to be initiated because I don't tolerate pain. Then all of the sudden these zookeepers walked in (we are still underwater at this point). They brought in some tiny snails, but for some reason we kept calling them octopi. Then he started "initiating" me. When it was done, I got out of the water and walked over to another pool. There I saw one of my teachers (seems to be a recurring theme) in a pool with the electric eels. Somehow their shocks were propelling her on an innertube. I don't remember any more of it.

Does this have meaning???

I'm going to go ahead and tell you now, my answer won't be EXACTLY what you're looking for, but it'll be close. Just because your dream involves a book character and you're "profession" on Yahoo! Answers.

There's certain rules to dreams that you must understand. If you experience too much joy in a dream, you'll most likely wake up. So to counterbalance this, your dream has to shift moods. This would explain why you had fun at the beginning and then it slowly goes downhill.

You know how you were not willing to be "initiated" at first, but in the end you gave in. Says something about you. Either you give into peer pressure easily or you want to feel welcomed (yeah... going with the first one).

Now as far as setting goes. Thank you for stating that you've been to a water park recently, that's why your dream started there (remember... joy to downhill). Torak must be an interesting character for you to be dreaming about him*.

Why could you breath underwater? Simple, in a dream what's more important: physics or Torak?

I will edit this part later. Cause the last part of the dream doesn't really make sense. I mean a teacher make sense, it's due to having stronger/more emotions set to that person as opposed to your friends. Probably because they had you do homework. Do you enjoy homework? But the part that confuses me is the zookeepers, and zoo animals. Do you want to go to a zoo or did the water park also have a aquarium?
