Question:

Another word for 'embrace'?

im talking about the verb 'embrace', when some one willingly accepts something, for example:

'he embraced the company's new working hours.'

does anyone know a word that could replace 'embrace' here? im looking for a word which is more positive than 'accept' - i basically want a word identical to 'embrace', which is not the word 'embrace'! does such a word exist?

the reason i need it is because im writing a poem and i used 'embrace' on the line just before it, and i 100% cannot change that line.

thank you
