Anovulatory? infertile? IUD? STD? cervical mucus but no high temp? ?

i had the paragard IUD for 4 years and had it removed this past june about 2 and half months ago. while i had the iud i did have a UTI (urinary tract infection) and after a small separation from my husband came down with chlamydia.

now that i have had my iud removed my periods are a lot lighter and farther apart about 35 days or so instead of the 29 to 30 they used to be and it used to be very heavy and last for 5 or 6 days and now it is super light and lasts 3 days.

I have started charting my BBT and cervical mucus for the first time this month.

I have not seen any change in temp to show ovulation

but i got egg white fertile cervical mucus once and now am getting it for a second time but still no sign of ovulation. i have had people tell me that they think i am Anovulatory aka infertile. i was looking up reasons for it and some say if you get a std while having iud it can cause you to become sterile. is there a huge chance that this is what has happened to me. i want one more child i have a 4 and 5 year old but i want one more child so i can have a child with my husband and give him a child of his own. please someone shed some insight on this for mehttp://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/21fd40

  1. IUDs and infections raise your risk of local inflammation and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). PID makes you infertile because it causes a build-up of scar tissue inside your uterus and Fallopian tubes. That scar tissue clogs up your reproductive tract, making it hard/impossible for eggs to float down and implant.

PID would not affect your hormone cycles, though, so you could ovulate and produce mucus as normal.

A pelvic exam can determine whether there is damage in your uterus and tubes. If there is, your doctor will need to figure out how bad the damage is. In many cases it's not too bad, and women can still conceive via IVF. But if the damage is really bad, you may not be able to sustain a pregnancy even if your eggs are healthy.
