Anson Carter?

So as you all know, in less than a month, the free agency frenzy begins. Yes, I am excited, and I am sure you all are as well.

So, with this, I was wondering what you think about Anson Carter(my second favourite player after Jagr)?

Yes, I know he is playing in Europe, but what do you think would happen if he returned to an NHL team? Do you think he is contempt in Europe, or would he love another chance in tne NHL? What team would he sign with?

Do you think he'll resign in Vancouver if they offered it? I think that would be great. He had a great season in 05-06 playing with the Sedin twins(33G-22A-55P) all while making a measly 1 million dollars. Playing with Vancouver/Sedin Twins again would be a great stepping stone back into his career.

And with the retiring of Trevor Linden, they have some cap space...so, any possibility of a return? =D

I would personally love to see him play for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Not because it is my hometown and team, but because it is also hi

  1. honestly carter doesnt do a single thing in an NHL game

i dont follow Europe hockey so i dont know how he is doing

He was fun to watch but he didnt help the team that much

so i am almost 100% positive he won't come back if he does no one will sign her

  2. The Devils should pick him up.  They need tougher players, especially after how they got pushed around last year physically.  He'd be a great 3rd or 4th liner.

  3. He was a one hit wonder. No team wants him at this point...

All that you really need to know- season after that with no Sedin twins, 11-17-28.

The hurricanes had him, and he was worthless.

  4. what i see happening if he returns is, absolutely nothing. hes useless on the ice. it wont make or break a team.

  5. Anson was virtually useless in his last season in the NHL.  I don't see him coming back.

  6. I'm a Caps season ticket holder and enjoyed watching Anson when he was here.  But I am honest, I don't see him getting an offer from a team unless it's a 2 way deal.  Players with similar style that are cheaper are all over the NHL now.
