  1. a. the color of a body is a measure of its  temp

so if it want to emit light then a metal can just be heated(eat energy)

    b. it has chemical energyconverted to heat and light energy

    c. coz power radiated is low (intensity*area)

    d. during lightning the clouds rub against each other to give off sparks which generate static electricity which produces flashing effects

d.both have different mechanism of light production

light bulbs use heating phenomenon of metals to generate light and flourscent tubes ionize the gases present inside it which strikes the coated glass to produce light

u may feel free to have more detailed explanation from  me via email

  2. If metal is heated enough to glow white hot it is called incandescent, metals are also shiny, giving them the ability to reflect light

energy in kerosene is chemical , the lamp gives off light when lit

lightning is caused by a discharge of charge we see it as light

Incandescent means glowing white hot. The tungsten filament in a light bulb does this. It is about 40% efficient in making light, 60% goes off as heat.

In a fluorescent tube, mercury gas is excited by a current of electricity and it gives off ultraviolet light, which we can not see. The inside of the tube is coated with a fluorescent material which glow with visible light when struck with ultraviolet.
