  1. Dyslexia is also know as word blindness, but hope is out there no matter how old..There are alot of phonic systems available. Dysphraxia is where the mind and the body do not work together, balance/hand eye co-ordination etc, again do not despair there are many ways to help dyspraxic sufferers..The hardest bit is coming to terms with them..after that it is all plain sailing. They do not necessarily go hand in hand, the same goes for number blindness..

  2. If you fully understand your dyslexia [disphrax-?], you'll get on much better. Not knowing can be very distressing, and to be certain, you can ask your doctor for an assessment. My partner did not know until she was 40. She was then diagnosed and is now improving each day, and is now 52. There are of course many people who through their total ignorance think dyslexics are stupid. My partner now gets a weekly allowance [paid monthly] to assist with rehabilitation in learning.

  3. I was found to be "non dominent" in college. I always thought I was just unintelligent. It is a form of dyslexia. my left hand and right hand are interchangeable at doing tasks.I used to mirror image write, still do, but I avoid pens and pencils. Is this what you are looking for?
