Answer me please! girl or boy?

my husband and i are ttc. we'd like to have a baby girl now, and so we had s*x before ovulation. now BD on Tuesday, and on Thursday i had Lots of EWCM on the toilet paper, it even had some blood in it. so i though that ovulation had occured, because i always have it this way. then we waited 2 days, and i was dry again, and had s*x again yesterday night (not for baby-making reasons!). only this morning i had this lots and lots of EWCM on my tissue again. does that mean that i ovulated on Thursday and then again on Saturday?

here is how it happened:

Tuesday no discharge, or very very little. Baby Dancing.

Wednesday just a little ovulation discharge. no s*x

Thursday lots of ewcm.no s*x

Friday. just a little, very little ovulation discharge, dry by the end of the day. s*x

Saturday morning: again lots of ewcm

Now: so confused???

When did i ovulate? if i do get pregnant, when do you think that conception occured? and those who know something about this gender-selection method, where did i go wrong?

i'd be happy with a boy too, and i know that most doctors say that it's a 50/50 chance, and all this timing and sexual position is stupid. what do you think? i'd like real answers from people who have experienced this.

i'm still happy as long as i am pregnant...but all my family is wishing for a girl at this point.

My guess is the EWCM you got on Saturday was more likely s***n and mucus from s*x, not really EWCM.  They can look very similar which is why it's hard to read your mucus the morning after s*x.  Based on what you told us here, I'd say you still ovulated on Thursday like you thought.

As for how I feel about the gender selection deal, there have been numerous studies done and no conclusive evidence that it really works as well as Shuttles would like us to believe.  I don't think there's anything wrong with trying it though.  At least if you end up preggo with a boy, you know you tried for a girl and God just wanted you to have a boy.

loads of people say o if u want a girl u should do this but actually you cant do anything to get a boy or a girl you should just be happy either way

if you get preg that might happen on saturday, since you had the sexual contact on friday the spern will ofcourse wait deep in you travelling a lot. the active one among them would have pierced the egg. you seem to have your ovulation of course on saturday. you may get a girl since you did not have s*x on saturday. because an xx chrom will reach deep enough to meet the egg with in one day.

another factor affects the s*x determination is that how deep you had the spern in side. depends on the size of pennn. or if you positioned the mother a little up in the bottom by means of pillows!!! it is true that xy chrom has a dull movement. if no s*x on sat,  of course you can expect a girlieeee.... good luck..
