  1. European ancestry. Wow, the chances of that happening are like... wow.

  2. European ancestry perhaps?

  3. It could be European or North African ancestry. The coast of Africa has been explored by everyone from the Turks and Greeks to the Vikings over the last 3 centuries. His eye color could have come from a combination of different sailtors at different points in the history of the family. It could also just be a genetic anomaly that's unrelated to non-Nigenrian heritiage.

  4. This is the genealogy forum, your question has come through to the wrong forum I think, we deal with family history. not genetics, sorry.

  5. i would guess european ancestry, this trait will probably come up every 3 generations from what i hear so your grandchildren might have blue eyes

  6. Could be a genetic anomaly or he could be descended from someone with blue eyes. There was a news story a few months back which said the eye color was decided from the mother. The same article mentioned that the original blue eyed person was believed to be the ancestor of all blue eyed people.

  7. Some of your dads relatives might come from the Berber tribes of the Atlas mountains in Morocco. The members of this tribe are pale faced and blue eyed. They  used to live all along the north African coast line.
