if someone eat 700 calories a day. and burn 800 by exercise would that person lose any weight. is it dangerous

  1. 700 calories is a very low intake.

    Don't forget your body burns energy just by being awake and doing day-to-day activities.

    I would suggest 1400-1500 calories per day and doing 30-60min of cardio 3-4 times per week.


  2. I agree with Cameon S. That is not only very low it's also dangerous. You have to understand we burn most of our calories just by staying alive. That means regulating your body's core temperature, releasing hormones, building new tissues, thinking etc consumes A LOT of calories.

    The average consumption is 2000 calories per day. Just staying alive consumes about 1200 calories a day that leaves only 800 calories.

    The secret is to speed up your metabolism by consuming enough calories. Not consuming enough calories will SLOW down your metabolism and would result in fat storage and muscle break down.

    you are supposed to burn more calories then you consume
