Answer this please/ Root canal's

Question

i got a root canal recently, and my temporary cap came off like 4 weeks ago, and tomorrow i supposed to get the perminant cap put on, but since my tooth has been un covered for so long will they have to redo the root canal operation, or will they just go ahead and cap it

It really should not be a problem-my temporary crowns always come off. Yes i have had many!~O

You will not need to have the root canal treatment redone but you will need to have the crown redone. Your tooth most likely has shifted and the permanent crown will no longer fit. You should have gone back to your dentist as soon as the crown came off.

I had this happen to me before, and when I went back I told them that The cap had fallen off.  They said that I should have gone in to have it put on again.  But they just put the crown on so I'm sure it's fine.  It just depends whether the tooth shifted or not.
