Question:

Ant colony inside my wall?

It seems like every single day I have to kill at least 100 ants that come out of my electrical outlet or these cracks about 3 or 4 inches away from the electrical outlet. Today I had a huge problem & I'm guessing that there were at least 2000 ants in my room. I live in a 2 story house, my room being on top, and there was a giant ant problem near the front door in the yard. Are they coming from out there or are they inside of my wall? They're the typical, small black ants that you see FREAKING EVERYWHERE.

Oh, and also, what is the purpose of ants on this planet? They're SO d**n ANNOYING.

  1. I would use a Raid fogger if the ants are coming in the little spaces of the outlet this stuff will seep in there and kill the ants. But If you are on the secone floor the first floor needs to be treated too.

Just make sure that you follow the instructions.

  2. do not use a fogger, you will only be killing the foraging ants, not the entire colony and chances are you will be making the problem worse.  You need to know what type of ant you are dealing with so that you may know what course of action to take.  Different ants respond to different types of baits.  You might first look outside to see if you can locate foraging ants out there and maybe take you to an outside nest to address, if not it may be worthwhile to hire a pro to properly rid you of the problem without more wasted time.
