Ant killer....?

is there any type of ant killer i can make myself that i can safely use indoors and around my 6 month old daughter... if so i would be putting them on a laminate floor and how do i do it mop the floor with it or just dump it on kill the ants and then mop?

Boiling water or dish soap

Any soap product applied directly to ants will kill them.

Ant bait traps also work well but must be where your baby cannot reach them.  The bait won't hurt her but the plastic shell could.
