I am in textile industry and have my own workshop. I weave hand made tapestry and rugs, stuff like this. It's in our family, my father was a very famous wool dyer. I worked hard and become really really good. Unfortunately, I became somewhat of a show off as well. There is that woman who established this trade in my area, in the whole of the country even. She used to teach weaving, but then dropped it, and she is a very important person in the government now, but still patronises weavers. Seeing that I was very good, I started saying how I was much better weaver than that woman. People tried to warn me, but I would not listen. I suggested that woman to come and have a weaving contest with me, and she did! I picked up Greek myths for my tapestry: Zeus with with Leda, with Europa, with Danaë (I wanted to give it a classic touch). When we finished, even the boss woman admitted that my tapestry was better, but the choice of my subjects(gods making up with humans) made her outraged, she thought it was disrespectful. She struck me with her shuttle and destroyed my tapestry. Only then I realised how conceited I was. Everyone and everything around here depends on her, why did I challenged her, what for? I could show off around my equals. Now she will never forgive me and will make my life h**l on earth. What should I do?
