Antenna problem for chanels 13-66 on uhf for newer...

Question

I brought a newer 52" hitachi ultravishion television from my freind. I do not have cabel but i do have a large roof top antenna that gets all the stations on other televisions. but when i plug the antenna into the back of the hitachi it will only get the stations between chanels 2-11. i have tried to run the anteenna through the vcr but the same conclusions of only getting reception for 2-11 occurs again. i have also brought a new rabit ear antena with boost and gain and hd reception but the only channels it receives is 2-11thankyoudanny
