The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ghana-c2905 star is having difficulties adjusting to his new club, Osasuna, attributing it to language barriers with his coach while also revealing his priority for learning the basics of the Spanish language.
Anthony Annan has recently joined Osasuna from the German side, Schalke 04, on a one year loan deal.
However, he is still trying to figure out ways to make his life at the club easier and smoother.
One important step he has taken so far is to learn and polish his Spanish language skills since his coach, Jose Luis Mendilibar, only speaks Spanish and that makes communication between him and Mendilibar very difficult.
Commenting on the style and character of his coach, Annan said,
“He’s an aggressive Coach and soon makes it clear what he wants. He speaks only Spanish and when I have difficulty I have to ask the players who know English. The Coach is trying to be more attacking and I’m very glad to be here."
Reflecting on his experience so far in La Liga, Annan admitted that his perception of the Spanish League has totally changed and that he is seeing the game from a different perspective now.
“Before I came here I watched a lot of Spanish football. On the couch it all seems easier, but when you are on the field everyone is strong, they play hard and the teams are very aggressive."
He continued talking about his admiration for the Spanish League and his prospectus at the club in this season.
“I think it is one of the best Leagues in the world and I hope to do well here and that Osasuna have a good season.”
Osasuna are already struggling in La Liga so far. They have won one out of their opening six games which currently puts them in the relegation zone.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anthony-Annan-c6201 realizes his new club is struggling and they are not in good form at the moment so they have to pick up some pace and start putting together some points in order to stay above water.
On this coming Sunday they are away to struggling Athletic Bilbao who have also been in similar form.
