Anthony Hamilton blames Lewis Hamilton’s management for recent mistakes – Formula 1 news
Lewis Hamilton’s father and manager of Force India driver Paul di Resta Anthony Hamilton has recently blamed his son’s management for the recent mistakes.
He believes that the management has still not been able to build a personal relationship with his son.
“You look up and down the pitlane and every driver, except for Lewis, has a driver-manager in his life, not people from a company,” said Anthony Hamilton.
Lewis is being managed by Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment since 2010 after he decided the British driver decided to part ways with his father professionally. This past weekend, he collided with Felipe Massa’s Ferrari which cost him a drive through penalty
as well.
“Formula one drivers need people personally involved in the driver's lives because it is a big pressure. You sign up a Formula One driver, so come and do your job. No disrespect to anybody but that's how this business is. I have seen Lewis and he is fine.
It is hard right now but he will come back, there is no doubt about that,” he added.
Lewis Hamilton has been going through some major issues since the past couple of races as he has crashed, skidded and made all sorts of mistakes.
Hamilton’s aggressive nature has been blamed for these recent incidents but a number of incidents in such a short amount of time are never a good sign for a driver and even the team has been supporting him regarding this matter.
McLaren’s management claims that this is just the way Hamilton is but unfortunately, these sorts of performances can never help a driver score good points. This way, the team can never challenge for the championship either which is the main reason why Anthony
Hamilton is concerned.
Hamilton must stay aggressive but careful at the same time as he is driving for a top running team which needs consistency along with aggression.
