What did you think about his play yesterday??

I grew up playing allot of junior golf back in the day with him in Cali

Back in the day??  Oh my goodness,  I have golf balls in the bottom of my bag that are over 22 years old.

I think it was awesome. I think it's also cool that no one makes a big deal that he's Korean or goes PC on us.

I also have a remote connection to AK. I worked for Oklahoma while he was there and knew some of the golf staff.

The bad press about his ego was stupid. If you know any top college golfers, you HAVE to have an ego just to survive. Everyone knows golf is 80% mental. If you have ANY self-doubt at that level, your game goes to c**p really fast.

Also if you know anything about his Dad, you know AK's had to develop a hard-*** mentality. Sean O'Hair's dad looks like Mr. Belvedere compared to AK's dad.

He was a definitely one of the guys at Oklahoma and partied hard like every other college kid at Oklahoma.

I hope he wins a MAJOR some time in his career.

One golf tournament does not a career make. The kid is hardly " dry behind the ears", had a terrific week and didn't lose his " cool " which may be a sign of maturity. I will not pass judgment on his capabilities for he does have " all the shots". We need to see his standing against the best pro golfers.

What's not to like. To see a young man fulfill a dream after years of hard work and dedication is truly heart warming. I can't imagine how he feels. Have I arrived? Am I one of them? Can I repeat this performance? I think can and will.

watched him play this past weekend and the man has all the things necessary to be great. Golf is such an unpredictable game that its hard to say if he will ever become part of golf's "elite" but he certainly has all the makings of a fantastic pro.
