  1. You could get a job teaching anthropology.

As to studying Anthropology right here, you might be better off studying Psychiatry, from some of the questions and answers I've seen on Yahoo!

  2. In the US, Anthropology is an overall discipline with four major subdisciplines - Social/Cultural Anthropology, Archaeology, Physical Anthropology and Linguistics. A good place to find out more about what the 'job' of an Anthropologist entails, etc. is at AAA - the American Anthropological Association's web site: http://www.aaanet.org/ as there are many different things an Anthropologist does or can do.

It is a job that entails a lot of hard work - but then what job does not and jobs in the field involving field work or research or in teaching are all dependent upon you having at least a Master's degree: however, many company's hire people with a Bachelor’s degree in Social/Cultural Anthropology to work in their Human Resources or Recruiting Departments because of their academic training in dealing with many different cultures.

To become an Anthropologist you really need to spend four years as an Undergraduate studying the four disciplines of Anthropology before you finally decide on which one you want to put your emphasis on and then attend graduate school where you will spend your time studying in your chosen area of emphasis.

You do not have to get any other degrees to become an Anthropologist but many people will do either a double major or major in Anthropology and then get a minor in a related interest. I double majored as an Undergraduate in Anthro. with an emphasis in Archaeology and English and also double minored in Geology and World History but that was just me.

  3. OR...

You could just study Anthropology right here!

  4. You could become an anthropologist. There are different aspects of anthropology both cultural and physical. Not all colleges or universities offers this major, but if you are interested I recommend that you find one that offers the course of study.
