Question:

Anti-depressants causing sexual dysfunction, how can I help?

What can I do to help with this problem, besides see my doctor. I am young, I should not be having these issues!! Anyone know how I can try and fix my problem??

  1. Ask your doctor to switch you to a medication that doesn't have those side effects.     I had that problem with Paxil, and Effexor, also, and switched to Wellbutrin, which works for me and doesn't seem to have the same sexual side effects.

    If you're circumcised, you can look into f******n restoration, restoring penile sensitivity has increased my libido, orgasmic intensity, and it's like having a brand new p***s.


  2. well, one of the side-effects of most anti-depressants is a decreased s*x drive.

Tell your doctor and maybe he can prescribe something different.  Sexual dysfunction is a very common side effect.  There probably isn't a way to fix it and keep taking the same dosage of the same drug, but there are a lot of different anti - depressant drugs.  Hopefully you can find one that helps you without that side effect.

  4. i am on anti depressants and dont really dont get in the mood much, but when i do i last for hours, so i guess theres an upside and a down side to it. there is no fixing the problem other then getting off medication.
