  1. If you have problems swallowing pills and need to take antidepressants, I am sure you can find a pharmacist who can compound the medication into a liquid if needed.

  2. there is but let ur doctor recommend one for u, its dangerous to take prescription's from here.

  3. Zoloft a common SSRI is available in liquid concentrate

IM's (intra-muscular) injections are reserved for meds that need to act very quickly usually.

My link isn't working, if you type in liquid zoloft things come up.  I looked at medicine net

Healthline.com lists tricyclic anti-depressants available in liquid and injectables too

Yes the full spectrum reveal lightbulbs do help, but given the severity of your situation, follow up with a reputable psychologist/psychiatrist and prescription medication in liquid form best suits your purposes.  St. John's Wort is used and is effective for those with mild depression.

  4. Remeron comes in chewable/dissolvable tablets.  You also have the option of buying a pill crusher and using it on your meds, as long as they are not time-released (CR,SR,EX,ER--it will say on the bottle not to split or crush them).  You then mix it with applesauce, pudding, or something and eat it.

  5. No there is not. I had a baby three months ago and I was recently hospitalized for four days for post partum depression. I asked for a liquid for the anti depressant that was prescribed to me (because I hate taking pills) but anti depressants only come in a pill or a tablet.

    Edit:

They should make anti depressants in liquid form because people like you and me will end up back in the hospital again if they don't.  I am not an expert on cutting or post partum depression but I am sure without medication we won't get better.

  6. Never heard of one for depression. Why not ask your doctor or pharmacist that question. They would know more then anybody here :-)

  7. I believe only for anti psychotics like Geodon, Lithium etc...

  8. not that i know of. Lithium can be injected but thats a mood stabiliser not an anti depressant

    sorry i'm not much help!

  9. Celexa, Lexapro, Zoloft, Prozac, Paxil etc are all available as suspensions. Some of them taste spectacularly terrible. Remeron additionally is available as a 'distintigrating' tablet. You put it on your tongue and it dissolves.

The idea of delivering these drugs as a suspension is a fairly foreign concept to most doctors - there's never really a reason to. Most have never heard of these forms. You can get them however, and they usually don't cost much more than the already dirt-cheap price tag on the generic antidepressants. If you have a large chain pharmacy in town like CVS or Longs, they can order it in. Otherwise you can order from an online pharmacy.

Antidepressants are never given as an injection though. You have to take them daily for several weeks for them to work, so there's not really a point to that.
