we will have the following topics:

whiskey rebellion

alien and sedition acts

federalists and their philosophies about the new country

anti-federalists and their philosophies about the new country

the possible "historical" future

we also have theses quotes to interpret:

"I am not among those who fear the people. They, not the rich, are our dependence for continued freedom." -Thomas Jefferson

"I consider it the foundation of the Constitution as laid on this ground -that all powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states, or to the people." -T.J.

""Hamilton's ideas flow from principles adverse to liberty, and are calculated to undermine and demolish the Republic." -T.J.

"the superiority... enjoyed by nations that have... perfected a branch of industry, constitutes a formidable obstacle." -Alexander Hamilton

Their are two more quotes by A.H. but i don't have enough space. Please provide any information possible

  1. Im not that great at this but i can give it a shot...

The first quote was about the rich having most of the say in government and what everyone else does at that time, and they didnt listen to 'the people'. "the people" are all the other citizens, he knew that all of them combine would be a great force and influence. In our country 'the people' are allowed to voice thier opinions making this country free. He is depending on those people to keep this country free. I guess lol

I think the second one, I THINK, means that the consititution doesnt give the u.s. government all the power. It gives the individual states power and it give the people of the u.s. power.

The third, i think he's saying hamiltons a jack a** lol you have to understand, words meant so much back then. and saying he's 'adverse to liberty' is a big insult if the man is patriotic lol he basically said 'hamilton's ideas are based on stuff that's against liberty and he comes up with those ideas to weaken and take down the republic.'  lol  Im pretty sure jefferson was republican and hamilton was democrat

the fourth, is probably why jefferson said what he said. i think he's saying superiority is a good thing, but im not too sure on this one. Jefferson was against giving the rich all the power and it looks like hamilton supported it. I think. Dont take my word on this one. lol
