  1. I think McCain is an amazing person, he has done a lot of incredible things that I can imagine very few of us would survive. BUT...he wants to send MORE troops. His would be another president of war. Can our economy handle that? Can our country handle much more of helping another country? We have done a lot, I think we need a good plan to pull out. I can't say I am for this increasing the ground troops. I like how my dad explains it - if you stick your finger in water, it is displaced by your finger. When you pull your finger out, the water goes right back where it was. I don't think it matters WHEN we pull out of that country, it is going to be a wreck. You can't fight another country's war - those people have to WANT change for themselves. I don't disagree with our trying - if it truly was to help the people. If it was for oil, well we shouldn't be so dependent on other countries - all we do is import all of our products and export all of our jobs these days, weakening our entire country in every way. So, if McCain became president I would not be completely disappointed simply because he is a far cry better than Bush, but I would not vote for him in the election. The best thing to do is check out their websites and listen to their speeches whenever possible. 2. John McCain . Flip flopped on amnesty to appeal to the growing hispanic voter base in Arizona, Favors an endless occupation of Iraq, Favors Strong Rhetoric towards Iran, Loves the Patriot Act more than his mama,

  3. To much a lib.  He will cave in to the Demo's and the news media.

    I am a Huckabee man

  4. I sure am. He's not a real Republican. I don't know what he's doing on the Republican side. He wants even more troops in Iraq?! What for?

He supports the death penalty. Actually he wants it to be more common.

He wants to help illegal immigrants. Well gee, what would that do? Maybe bring in even more illegal immigrants?

His views on abortion have changed also. So neither pro-life nor pro-choice people can really know what side he's on.

So that is why I am completely pro-Ron Paul. If you're anti John McCain, you might want to look into him:

  5. This is about the third time I've answered this way, but it is the truth regarding Mr. McCain.

I swore I would never cast my vote for ANY politician who sought/seeks to give amnesty to illegal alien CRIMINALS. McCain's name was on the amnesty bill that we, the American people, shot down. Therefore, he will not receive my vote, no matter what.

In addition, I've got problems with McCain-Feinngold (censorship) and McCain-Lieberman, which will do nothing except line the coffers of government officials while raising OUR gasoline prices even more (McCain-Lieberman adds a $.50 fee to each gallon of gas on top of federal/state taxes which already average about $.60!)

McCain will NEVER receive my vote. If he takes the nomination, I will vote write-in.

  6. Oooooh. I was just about to ask a question similar to this.  I am having such a hard time.  My husband thinks McCain is a liberal, I am more of a libertarian than anything, the only thing I like about him is his national security experince is unquestionable.  I hated his immigration plan.  He voted againsts the Bush tax cuts, but with what he says is good reason, that is there were no spending cuts to go along.  I believe him, I guess.  I just DON'T know!  Great question.

I think I might vote Romney, even though I love Huckabee's stand on the Fair Tax.
