  1. You health is nothing to be embarrassed about - that's what doctors are for.  They've seen it all!  Just take a deep breath, go in calmly and explain what's going on.  They'll take you through it.  Chances are by the time your exam is over, you'll have more questions, and that's good - always take time to learn about you body - it's the only one you've got!

  2. youre just gonna have to let the doc check you out to be able to treat you for the right infection...they wont just prescribe antibiotics because you ask for them...

sorry but youre gonna have to grin and bare it...

  3. Get over your embaressment... this is serious. Tell him, or at least request a female doctor because you feel uncomfortable about that area.

  4. You need to be honest because you won't get them without the doctor doing a test for whatever it is you say. If you don't feel comfortable with a male doctor, ask for a female doctor. I'm afraid they won't just give you them without doing some tests. You could end up with the wrong ones, too.

  5. Unfortunately, you MUST tell the MD what it's for because it will determine which antibiotic he will give you.  He may not have to look at you...may just ask you what your symptoms are & ask you some questions.  It's important to tell him the truth & not let your embarrassment keep you from getting the care you need.

If you would be more comfortable you could also ask to see a woman MD.

    Feel better.

  6. You have got to grow up sometimes and now is the time.  Don't mess around with an infection for it will only get worse.  Make an appointment now and go see him.

This is not a laughing matter or a time to be embarrassed.  Go, go, go!

  7. Grow up, get some balls and tell your doctor exactly what is going on. If you want to be treated properly you need to give a full description of symptoms. You may be wrong in thinking you have an infection in the first place, and could be something else. All medications don't work for every issue, so getting any old antibiotic is not the answer. Do what you need to do to keep your body healthy and tell your doctor what's going on and how long it's been going on. If you are insecure about a male doctor, ask for a female doctor to check you out! Good luck!

  8. whatcha got? Herpes? Crabs? Syphilis? Gonorhea? Crabs? The Clamp? AIDS? The Giggidty? Ol Sally Stankcrotch?

  9. you should get over the embarrassment and go...did u know that infections could lead 2 dangerous problems...if u just go to the doctor and take the antibiotics and you will be fine..or would u rather NOT go and have to deal wit worse problems..ask for a female doctor if that would make u feel a little better...go for it trust me...and wen its all over u will feel much better

  10. They won't make you pull your trousers down for goodness sake, unless it's a yeast infection or STD.  They would have to take a swab sample, I'd guess.  In that case, you should have made an appointment with a female doctor.  Or request a female nurse.  I myself do not believe in women going to a male doctor for things like that.  It's disgusting.

Another thing, if it's a UTI, they WONT look at you or do anything to you.  You just tell him your symptoms and they will take a urine sample.  Which means they hand you a cup and direct you to the nearest toilet.  The exact same procedure EVERYONE goes through when they take drug screens for a new job.  Haven't you ever had that happen? So why be embarassed?  You just hand them the cup back, it's done and over with.  They'll test the urine for infection and prescribe antibiotics accordingly.  No big deal.  Everyone, I mean EVERYONE has to have a urinalysis done these days for at least drug screens for a new job.  And if you go through enough jobs like I have you get used to it.

  11. lol just go to the pharmacy and talk to a girl that is working. she'll give you something

  12. but there are different kinds of antibiotics for "down below". the infection could be anything. you really need to get them checked out. the doctor has dealt with plenty of other patients with the same problem. most people who goes to doctors usually has some problem down there.

  13. you need to get to the doctor and be honest about whats going on or they cant help you.  some antibiotics are for certain things and if you dont get the right perscription they wont work.  suck it up and tell the truth to your doctor.
