Antidepressant withdrawl?

in june i just stoped taking my antidrpressants because they were making me feel weird, over the course for 3 months i was switched between 6 or 7 antidepressants back to back no breaks, still to this day i still feel symptoms, not as bad but still off and on, ive gotten blood work done, all normal, EKG's, all normal! i need to find out if thier's anyone out their that can help me beside's telling me to get back on antidepressants! NOT GOING TO! (made me sucidial) i NEED answers HOW LONG does side effects last can i naturally take something herbal to help me some support anyone PLEASE doctors anyone help

  1. To begin with, it normally takes 3 weeks to a month for the drug to build up in your system. Switching your prescription 6-7 times within 90 days is most likely the cause of your problem. I don't think you're experiencing withdrawl symptoms. I think your body is telling you that you need to be on something. Sorry, I know it's not what you want to hear, but I speak from experience. I was on meds years ago and when I tried to go off of them, I felt suicidal. I went back on them unitl I was at a place in my life where I thought I could handle things on my own.The second time I went off my meds, I was okay. I think you need to find the medication that works for you and stick with it.


  2. I can certainly understand your distaste for prescription antidepressants. Their side effects can be very troubling. I would try a naturapath doc and see if he can help you with some herbs and natural remedies. There are many out there but don't try them without some medical supervision and guidance, you could end up poisoning yourself.
