My family has this antique sewing machine at home. My dad and I have started our own little ebay business and we have decided to sell it on ebay. The only problem is we are not sure how much it is worth, it doesnt tell us much information either , this is what we have:

-It is an Edison Sewing Machine.

-Model #21

-The on the Front is says :

35

Precision

Super Deluxe

The machine itself is turquoise and it comes on a wood stand. If anyone could help me it would be great.

How much is it worth?!!!!

Anyone Interested?!

  1. we too had one that stumped us on worth, etc.  What I would do is go on google and type in the following: "Edison Sewing Machine: model #21" and see what pops up.  We did that with the one we were trying to price and it took a few diffferent web sites but we finally found what we needed.  Just keep entering all the information you have, and try different variations of that.  I did what I just suggested to you and came up with a couple of ebay links.  check them out and compare to yours.  Good luck.Another possiblility is make a trip to your local library and see if they have a book on antique sewing machines.

  2. It's probably vintage 1950s to early 60's, judging by the color, and may be worth a bit more because of the color to some collectors.  However, most used machines of that vintage, particularly ones that are only straight stitchers, are in the $0-50 range.  A few machines with cult followings, like Singer 201s, are worth a bit more on the current market.

Oh, and something isn't antique (according to the US Customs service) until it's 100 years old.  The word you want is "vintage".

  3. Second hand machines are worth much there are too many about

  4. its worth 100 dollurs

  5. depending on condition they normally sell for $50.00-$100.00 there are tons of them out there.
