Antivirus 2009...help!!?

Question

This evening ive been getting pop ups saying my computer is infected and that i can run a free scan and then sign up for it. I clicked out of it straight away but every 15 mins or so i get the pop up again.

Please help, how can i get rid of it. At the moment mt AVG edition hasnt picked anything up.

Try this it's called Malwarebytes it's free  just download the file to your computer then install it then run a quick scan

This is not a virus...try following the link it will answer your questions and by downloading the Malware tool will sort the problem out.
