Antivirus 2009 popups?

Question

The other day my computer was infected with Antivirus 2009, and I found a website that showed how to remove it. I thought the removal was successful, but I keep getting a popup that will lead me to download it again, if i click on it. I haven't allowed it to infect my computer this second time, but i can't find out how to get the popups to go away without the virus being downloaded...
