Antivirus 2009 problem ?

well recently ive been getting pop ups uncontrolably so i thought it was adware and ignored it but now every time i go on the internet the dame virus is trying to force me to download antivirus 2009 luckly i no how to ignore it and not download it but what do ido to get rid of it. and also everythime there is avertisment on a website it replaces it for a message saying i have a virus. i dont want to pay for anything to get rid of it so i need a quick and easy soulution also i dont have antivirus 2009 yet so dont give me any info i dont need.thx =]

Antivirus 2009 is indeed Spyware. Spyware is a type of virus that really doesn't harm your computer. It just slows down or stops your internet and usually redirects your pages. This is because it is trying to steal information from you or advertise a product.

i have the same problem its a SCAM..i have been warned of this from some of my contacts..i cant get rid of it either..i just ''x'' out of it...kinda pisses me off..tell others

I had those popups over and over and i googled a removal process and found http://www.pchubs.com/blogs/antivirus-20... I followed the steps and then the next time i booted my pc the popups were gone. Been 3 weeks now without those popups. It was a free removal process using a free tool called smitfraudfix on that link. May want to try it out.
