??? Antivirus 2009 ???

Question

anyone know if this is any good or a scam?

I have my computer on auto-updates and the other day it said there was an update waiting to be installed so as usual i clicked the OK button to install it and now i can't get the stupid thing off my computer and i keep getting random web pages pop-up in whole nother web page

any suggetions?

should I buy the stupid program and run it to stop this or . . . what help can i get

i have tried uninstalling it from everywhere on my cpu also

Try This. Just follow the steps from here. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-... think you can just download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to scan and remove that antivirus xp 2008. I don't think you have to follow all the steps. It'll work %100.

yeah it's a scam. a horrible horrible scam. if you look it up on yahoo! answers specifically you'll find a bunch of questions on it that will tell you where to go to get rid of it.
