Antivirus XP 2008 Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Question

okay so i had that anti virus c**p I tried to remove it and it worked... except i think it is still on everytime i change my wallpaper it reappears! (just that stupid wallpaper) i have tried to search for it on my hard dive but it says it can not be found! my computer is not working right!!! Im really pissed! does any one know how to COMPLETELY remove it!!!!! XOXOX!

let me assure you that malwarebytes  will NOT  remove this

i have no clue why people continue to post that link . it is garbage

This is easy and will take about an hour.

Switch off system restore.

Install, update and run a full scan with SUPERantispyware [free edition] http://superantispyware.com

When your system is clean you can if you wish re-enable system restore.

Simple fix, download:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.'

Spybot S&D:

Download, install, update and Immunize, then click 'Check for problems'

on some  there is a removal tool but on antivirus 2008 it appears you have to do it manually

Search and kill the following processes:

AV2008.exe

AntiVirus2008.exeRemove Antivirus 2008 files

Antivirus Pro 2008

Uninstall Antivirus.lnk

AntvrsInstall[1].exe

AntvrsInstall.exe

AntiVirus 2008.lic

Antvrs.exe

AntiVirus 2008.lnkRemove/Modify corrupt Registry Entries

Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\3BA4271E-5C1E-48E2-B432-D8BF420DD3...

Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVers...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\W... "3P_UDEC"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Antivi

dont forget to back-up your registry before deleting anything
