*Antivirus XP 2008*WARNING** If u encounter this program/software read closely!!!!?

My first sign was wen i press the 'Caps Lock' it appears in the bottom right hand corner of my screen. A day later i was surfin the net and the software 'Antivirus XP 2008' appeared. I removed it by unpluggin the pc/laptop with the problem and download a program called "Malewarebytes Anti-Malware" on a different pc and loaded it on a Memory stick and installed it on the pc with infection without connection to the net. please remove it manually first.(do this in safe mode)

then run  Malwarebytes anti malware.

Ruh spybot:S&D after that.

last download hijackthis , run it and scan for files and registry anomalies. Fix them.

make sure before you fix em , all programs are closed , Ctrl+alt+del

end the process explorer.exe ,  press ALt +tab to bring hijackthis window to forefront and then fIx.

You could also try and run an online scanner

If some file is stubborn and not getting deleted

download OTmoveit or unlocker.

"anti-virus xp 2008" is rogue virus disguise as an anti-virus product.
