Antivirus ZP 2008. I have this piece of s@@t on my pc and i can't get rid of it.

I have tried all the usual uninstall features. I have even looked on Symantec, but nothing. Please, please, please can anyone tell me how to get rid of it before i throw my pc out the window. lol. No techno speak please, just simple answers in english. Thanks a lot.

Hi,don't know if this will help but i had the same problem and symantec was no help at all ended, up having to buy mcfee antivirus program this did get rid of it.

OK.

1.Get Reg Cure from download.com

2. Download Spybot search and destroy from download.

3. Download adaware spyware remover from download.

First install everything. Next Run spybot search and destroy first and let it scan which might take a while. After that's done run adaware. and then after all the scanning is complete run reg cure. After you do all of this, your problem should be gone. If you are having trouble starting because your computer is running slow go to START, RUN, type msconfig go to the startup tab and choose disable all on the lower right side. restart and run process. If you are still having problems, try doing the process in safe mode. You do that by pressing f5 when you start up your pc untill you get a menu that displays safe mode and others. I see you have norton, you might want to uninstall that and get a better antivirus. AVG works better than norton and it's free!! Download.com

I had the same problem with Norton Antivirus..Once it was installed it refused to leave..I had to go to their website,send them a e-mail through their sorry customer service and they sent me a e-mail to the page to uninstall the product..

  Ur antivirus site may have a link so they can uninstall it..if u cant find it on their page e-mail their customer service..

  As far as downloading a product to get rid of another,,everytime I did that The site kept slowing my computer down and asking me to Always update it or buy their full version,,that got to be a pain in the @sss!-

get some real Antivirus/Antispware software like AVG or Avast, then run scans with either of them and get rid of it, then get CCleaner to clean out your registry of the parts it leaves behind
