Antivirus on mac?

Question

i have just bought a new macbook pro (w/out bootcamp, so i dont have also windows on it).

i was wondering if i need to get also an antivirus, and if yes which one??

A lot of people say macs are not assessable to viruses,but i wouldn't take a chance. Trend Micro work great for me.

Norton , mcafee, avg antivirus scanner available for mac,  but it not must like windows,  for my mac os x i am not using any antivrus  since past 1 year, i did not have any problem yet..

always try to update your mac os...up to date..
