Antivirus question require some advice please?

I was wondering when you purchase a antivirus disc, are you allow to use it on more than one computer? The computers would belong to me? Also does this apply to free internet antivirus?

On free ones, as long as it is not in a commercial organisation or business, yes.

On paid ones, it will only work if the license allows it - you are normally told when you purchase it. Normally, they are either licensed for 1 or 3 PCs, but there are expensive company ones in which there is unlimited.

Don't even bother with companies like Norton or McAfee, just use the free programs that you can download from the net. These programs can be loaded to as of your personal compters as you wish, as long as this is not an organization or a business.  You can also download anti spyware programs that are free.  Here is a list of URL's for a few of these sites.

Purchased programs come with only 1 pc license usually. The free programs can be installed on as many as you want.
