I purchased a seven year extended warranty on a recliner I bought. Now that the seam has separated, I learn that "Stainsafe" doesn't cover, seams, sitting areas, misuse, abuse, dye stains, discoloration from body contact, peeling, cracking, split grain leather, acts of God, etc. etc. In fact, I don't believe there is anything that actually is covered. LOL. Anyone else fall for this ?

  1. Stainsafe is a chemical treatment. There never was any warranty on the furniture.  Next time read before you sign.

  2. Yes once on a vanity set. I sat on the stool (brand new, mind you) and I was only 120lbs at the time, and I hit the floor! They told me I should have been more careful and that they weren't liable. Never again will I purchase warranties on furniture.
