The head coach of the Beneamata outfit has gone on to rubbish any suggestions that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 cannot play in tandem with each other.
A lot of criticism was levied on to the Nerazzurri outfit after their unexpected defeat at the hands of AC Siena on the fourth match day of the season. What irked the critics was the inability of the San Siro outfit to secure victories on their home turf,
as the Nerazzurri outfit have not secured victory in any matches played at the San Siro.
They have failed to secure victories in the relatively easier European matches as well. This has left the fans frustrated as they are appalled by the clubs wonderful performances away from the San Siro as compared to the performances at the San Siro.
The tactical acumen and the implemented tactics of the Beneamata head coach have come into question and the critics have remarked on the inability of Cassano and Sneijder to play together in one team. Stramaccioni has rubbished all such comments by stating
that there were many instances in the match where the two players played with great understanding. He further went on to state the instance in the match where Cassano teed up Sneijder for a goal, and had that chance been converted then everyone would have
been singing praises of the two players telepathic connection.
He was quoted to have said:
“That’s not the case, absolutely not,” he responded. “It will just be up to me when and if to play them together. Look at the game against Siena. Cassano did an incredible move to set up Sneijder. Had he scored we would today be talking about a deadly duo.”
The boss further went on to comment that partnerships between teammates took time to develop and reach a certain level and mentioned that you cannot simply expect two players to connect when they have only played a handful of matches with each other. He
remarked:
“You can't wave a magic wand, but you can make progress. And in my book the only way to improve is by getting on with the task at hand. We don't want to lose any more games like the Siena one.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan would be up against Chievo tonight in their Serie A clash.
