The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan skipper has gone on to laud the signature of Cassano and is expecting big things from the Italian international, and spoke about Andrea Stramaccioni.
The arrival of Cassano was bound to raise a few eyebrows as he came from Milan’s bitter rival and neighbours, AC Milan. What spiced up things was the attack that Cassano made on Galliani after his move to the Nerazzurri outfit. He went on to state that the
Rossoneri chief is only nice to yes men, along with other things; and remarked that he would be looking to make the most of his opportunity at the Meazza outfit.
This led to a verbal spat between Galliani and Cassano, and many other personnel have joined in the heated discussion and people like Silvio Berlusconi and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Franco-c14050 Baresi have gone on to tell the former Sampdoria forward to keep his mouth shut and let his
football do the talking.
Galliani also commented that it would not be long before Cassano starts creating havoc in the Beneamata ranks and dressing room. However, when Zanetti went on to comment that the former Real Madrid striker was a great acquisition and has blended in well
at the club. He further went on to remark that he would be looking for big things from the player.
During his interview with Tuttosport, the skipper of the Italian outfit went on to state:
“Antonio is a very nice guy. He has fitted in well and is great fun, as well as obviously a great player.”
He went on to remark that there was no upheaval in the dressing room and also mentioned that the players were getting along with each other without any hassle. He was quoted to have said:
“The strength of the team goes hand-in-hand with the cohesion that exists between the players. I have always said that the Inter dressing room was, and is, united.”
When quizzed about their head coach, Zanetti was full of praise for Stramaccioni and commented:
“The Coach is a strong Coach, a well prepared Coach, and....three years younger than me!”
The Nerazzurri take on Torino in their next match on Sunday.
