Antonio Cassano will quit the game in the next three years: Euro 2012 news

The striker scored a brace in his team’s 3-0 win over Nigel Worthington’s men in the last group stage game of the Euro 2012 qualifiers at the Stadio Adriatico, Pescara on Tuesday, October 11th, 2011.
The former Sampdoria star is delighted with both his personal and team’s performances and believes that they can continue playing like this in the future too. The 29-year-old believes that the team is well prepared to challenge
for Euro 2012 and they must not let their heads drop from here.
The former Real Madrid star hailed his partnership with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sebastian-Giovinco-c32724, who was making his first senior start for the country. Cassano believes that they complemented each other really well and he is hoping to continue this
form in the future.
“The important thing was to have a good game tonight, which we did, but now we have to keep this consistency and style in Euro 2012. I think we can continue like this and achieve great things. It was my first time playing with
Sebastian Giovinco. We’re both tiny, about 1.40m between us, but got on well together and it’s always easy to play alongside someone with quality.”
The striker also thanked the manager, Cesare Prandelli, for saving his Italian career but revealed that he will hang up his boots in the next three years. Cassano wants to enjoy his game and believes that he will stop playing it
whenever he gets bored of it.
“I keep coming in and out, but in three or four years I’ll stop with the Nazionale. I think I’ll play football for only that time, have a good Euros and a good World Cup."
The former Bari star has scored 9 goals in 28 appearances for the national team thus far. He has been the main striker at his club this season, as their other strikers have missed a handful of matches through injuries.
