The Bianconeri chief insists that his intention is to elevate the Turin giants back to their former glory; thanks the President for his faith in him.
Antonio Conte has thanked the Juventus President for a new contract, and insists that he will repay the trust put in him with a good performance in the next season.
The tactician recently signed a deal with the Old Lady extending until 2015, after leading the team to the Scudetto in the 2011-12 campaign.
Conte stated that the President’s approval in keeping him at the helm of Juventus has allowed him to continue his dream, and insisted that the trust put in him will only motivate him to work even harder.
The Bianconeri manager stated that his plan was always to build a team that will continue to perform consistently at the top of Serie A, and insisted that he wants to take the Turin giants to their former glory.
The Vecchia Signora coach stated that although they have won the Scudetto, the next year will bring even greater challenges, as they will go against the finest teams from all over Europe while safeguarding their supremacy in Serie
A.
While talking to Juventus’ official website, the former Siena boss said:
“My dream can continue and I thank the President. This is a show of faith in me which fills me with joy and pushes me to do even better. The intention was always to build something here on a yearly basis so that we could return
to the levels of the past. We were able to win the title this season and we’ll have a new challenge next term – to do well in Europe, but also confirm ourselves at home as that is always important.”
Antonio Conte stated that nobody thought that they will go on to capture the Serie A crown at the start of the season, but the tactician insisted that they worked hard for the glory, and now the spotlight is on them.
The Bianconeri coach stated that the Scudetto shield on their chest will ensure that they start as the favourites for the next season, and insisted that they have a strong base on which to build their future.
The Old Lady tactician revealed that the majority of the team will remain as it is, and stated that it is up to Beppe Marotta to strengthen their squad for the upcoming challenges.
