The former AC Siena head coach was relatively pleased with the performance of the Turin outfit; and remarked on his first impressions of the new signings.
Juventus kicked things off with a pre-season friendly against Aygriville. The match was played out at the Saint Vincent’s Stadio Perucca and Juventus were the eventual winners in a 7-1 score line.
The former Bari manager assessed the game and stated that it was a nice start to the rigours of the upcoming campaign. The Bianconeri have been busy in their pre-season training workout, and Conte felt that the game against Aygriville proved to be a good
exercise for his men.
The Juventus players are going through an intense training regimen. The Scudetto holders will be facing stiff competition next season, as the Turin outfit will not be taken as lightly as it had been at the start of last season, thereby the need to go that
extra mile in training is required to put a strong defence for their title.
Conte further reflected on the match against the amateur outfit and felt that there were pros and cons in their display, however, the former Bari manager stated that there is no point in being overly critical at this stage. The Juventus outfit that took

“There were some good points, some bad points, but we must also take into account that there were many from the primavera and even some of the new signings will obviously take time to get the idea of playing to certain ideas.”
The gaffer remarked that the transition of the new players and the youngsters into understanding the system played at the club will take time; however, he was confident that the team would be able to amalgamate before the start of the next season.

“Lucio arrived just two days ago, has taken this trip across the ocean, so he needs to fit in, pick up the pace, but there will be time and we’ll definitely be prepared.”
Lucio was at fault, when he was unable to control the ball, which led to the first goal of the amateur outfit.
