The Juventus boss feels that his side were heading towards another draw, and breathed a sigh of relief after Del Piero secured the victory against the Biancocelesti.
Despite the victory secured against Edy Reja’s men, Antonio Conte was resentful in the manner in which his team secured the win. The victory meant that Conte’s side leapfrogged
AC Milan into the first place of the Serie A.
The former Bari manager has always been vociferous and angry when watching his side not capitalising
on their dominance in games. Many of the draws accrued by Juve over the course of the campaign have been instances where the Bianconeri failed to finish off moves in the final third. Conte was of the opinion that the game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 was heading in the same
direction and was visibly upset by his side’s inability to finish off matches.

The manager further went on to state that it would be lot easier to handle if his men were able to add more finesse in their finishing, furthermore he felt it would be justified
as well, and commented:
“It’s inevitable that if we converted all our scoring opportunities, we’d all be calmer and our coronary arteries under less stress! It’d also be fair, as
Juventus dominated so much and had to suffer until the final whistle tonight.”
The former Lecce player was full of praise for the club’s saviour, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Del-Piero-c4726, and felt that he came up with the goods whenever asked. Furthermore, he added that
it was testament to his great professionalism that he gave his all, no matter the duration of his stint on the field. He commented on Del Piero by saying:
“Del
Piero, it’s a great fortune for us to have him here. When you need to score, he’s your man. He has always been and will always be an added bonus for the team. If I ask him for a minute, five minutes, eight or a whole game, he always gives 100 per
cent.”
After 32 matches in the Serie A, Juventus hold on to their slender one-point lead over the Rossoneri.
