The Juventus coach is pleased with the win at San Siro, and demands defensive improvement from goal-scorer Martin Caceres.
Juventus defeat A.C Milan by 2-1 in first of the two-legged tie of Coppa Italia semi-final at San Siro on Wednesday, February 8.
Martin Caceres scored a brace for the Turin giants, while Stephan El-Shaarawy scored the only goal for the Rossoneri.
Both sides drew blanks in the first-half, as a number of chances went begging. However, with eight minutes into the second-half, Caceres opened the scoring for the Bianconeri. The lead was short-lived, as Milan equalised with a

Conte shuffled his team for the game, and handed chance to few new players, who were signed during the January transfer window.
While talking to RAI Sport about the reaction of the players in the match and his opinion on the second debut of the Uruguayan defender, the 42-year-old commented:
"I am pleased with the response from every player who stepped on to the pitch in a match as important as this one. Caceres needs to do better in terms of defensive actions, but when it comes to his attacking movement I have nothing
to complain about."
However, the Italian is pragmatic about the lead taken in the first-leg, stating that they had only completed half of the task. He believes that Juventus need to perform in the same fashion if they want to hold a chance of playing
in the final of Coppa Italia.
Antonio Conte further added that his side is expecting a Rossoneri backlash and said:
"The tie is still open because Milan are a good side who still have something to say. We are anticipating a very hard second-leg to get a place in the final."
The return leg of the semi-final will be played at Juventus Stadium on March 21, with the Turin giants in the driving seat for making it to the final.
