The Old Lady boss demands focus from his team and will not accept anything other than three points in the remaining matches; hails AC Milan’s squad strength.
Juventus head-coach, Antonio Conte, has urged his team to concentrate on their own performances rather than keeping tabs on the results of Scudetto rivals, AC Milan.
Antonio Conte’s men moved to the summit of the Serie A table after Milan were defeated 2-1 by Fiorentina over the weekend. However, the Rossoneri’s latest 1-0 win over Chievo Verona on Tuesday, April 10, has put them back on top, albeit having played an extra game.
Juventus will take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 in their respective matchday 32 game of the season on Wednesday, 11 April. A win over Edy Reja’s men will put Juve back on top of the table, with a two-point lead over Milan.
Conte has urged his men to develop the winning mentality, and insists that he will not settle for anything other than a win in the remaining matches. The Turin giants are enjoying a great run of form, and have stayed unbeaten throughout the season.
The former Lecce star also lauded AC Milan for putting up a strong fight for the title, and believes that the race for Scudetto will go down to the wire.
While talking to the reporters, Conte said:
“Winning is enough - my message will not change until the end of the season. The team is in a good mental state, there is great enthusiasm and awareness.”
“Milan are a super power, a battleship that was created for the grand slam. They have 35 players of the highest level and despite many absences can play well in many formations and from this point of view, we take them as an example.”
The boss has also urged the fans to play their part in guiding the Old Lady to their first trophy in several years.
“The best thing is to see the enthusiasm of the fans, they have rediscovered their pride in us. Nothing can take that away now, and this is the most important thing.”
Juve currently trial leaders AC Milan by two points with an extra game in hand.
