The Juventus boss could not hold back his emotions after securing a win in the Derby d’Italia, however the coach clarified that the match had little to do with it.
The Old Lady was in dire need of a victory to keep their Scudetto dreams alive, the win made sure that the Turin side would stay four points adrift of AC Milan. A victory

the match went into extra time due to the Milanello comeback, which had exhausted the Turin outfit. He talked about the relative expectations of the two sides going into the match and stated:
“We knew it would be a struggle, especially as we played 120 minutes in the
Coppa Italia on Tuesday. Inter had nothing to lose, while the pressure was on us, but we held out well.”
The win ensures that Juventus are in the second position, and are neck to neck with the Rossoneri.
